Goto System Preferences -> Sharing.
Here you will find the computer name and you can change it to what ever to wish to.

System Preference -> Account -> Click on name -> Change name
Many people seem to be confused about grayed out items that they are unable to change.
It is because it is locked. To unlock, simply click on the brown lock located on the lower left
corner of your window.
